The meeting of the Appeals Commission of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan took place on January 8, 2024, to address complaints from candidates dissatisfied with the results of the interview stage for principals and deputy principals within the framework of the competition for the recruitment of principals, deputy principals, and teachers of children's music, art, painting, mugham, and ashug schools and centers.
In the meeting, the performance of candidates for the position of principal—Hasanli Nargiz Ilgar, Mustafazadeh Aslan Rafig, Aghayev Ramin Heydar, and Hasilova Gunay Mammad—was evaluated. The interview result for one candidate out of the four was revised, while the results for the remaining three were upheld.
During the discussions, the candidates' perspectives on the interviews were heard, and the opinions formulated by the Commission members based on the video recordings and interview documents were discussed. In the end, the relevant decisions were made according to the votes of the commission members.
Pursuant to the decision, Hasanli Nargiz Ilgar gizi's application (21 points) contesting the outcomes of the prior interview was approved.
The decisions regarding the complaints of the other candidates concluded that the evaluation of the results of the previous interviews of these candidates by the interview commission was completely fair and reasonable and was confirmed without any changes.
